Like many people on this forum, I suffer from hyperhidrosis.
However, for a few months now, I've noticed something unusual.
I live in FL and the weather down here is extremely hot during this time. I'm a person who has always worn socks, like literally every second of the day. However, I decided for some reason to start not wearing them.
My conclusion is: whenever I don't wear socks, my hands won't sweat. When I do wear them, my hands start to sweat almost immediately (especially once I put shoes on). If I'm wearing socks and I don't think about it, my hands probably won't sweat. However, now that I have this correlation between socks and sweaty hands, I can't not think about it.
Is this normal, or is just psychological?
