I was watching TV the other day and an interesting show started with the topic about shyness.
The thing that caught me the most was a test they made.
They had gathered 10 people or so, who had volunteered to be in the show because they wanted to overcome their shyness.
Personally I could never have the courage to show my face on TV in a show like this:S
Anyway, they started the test. 5 people was allowed to wear masks, while 5 people didn't wear a mask. They were each in their own rooms.
A person walked in, and it was up to the "shy people" to start and hold a conversation, but not end it.
Surprisingly it was the people who wore a mask that succeded (sp?).
So do you think by wearing a mask, you feel protected?
I know that if I drink aclohole at a party I have no trouble at all speaking with people for a very long time. I think that is because alcohole puts a mask infront of my face where I can hide, or something.
What are your opinions?
Do you think it would be possible to wear a mask without wearing one? (if you know what I mean).
