Volunteering

Today I signed up to volunteer at a animal shelter. I'm super excited! My job would be to play and take care of the animals and if asked I would clean the dishes and blankets and such. I think this would be great seeing as how much I love animals. I go every Wednesday afternoon and I can't wait to start.

On top of that it looks good to volunteer. But I'm not doing this for anyone I'm doing it for me. I'm the one who came up with the idea and went through with it. I'm proud of myself for doing that and I am very happy.

I'm really excited, because well some of my college courses required me to volunteer. So I volunteered at a soup kitchen and the autism foundation I'm a member of. But this time I chose it for myself and want to spend my time there. It's a big step for me to do that because 2 years ago I would never volunteer any where!
