Validation

I've never really watched Oprah, but her final show was on last night and she talked about validation, and that everyone desires to be validated - "do you see me, do you hear me, does what I say mean anything to you". It struck a chord with me.

So, what does validation mean to you? When have you felt validated? How would you like to be validated?

This reminded me of Anna's intro to her song walk away (skip to :40 if that's all you want to hear) because this song is a little bit about feeling validated, or letting other people know that they matter.

yep, definitely need it. often times it feels like me against the world so it is nice to feel like for one second someone has my back.
