lol, it is very likely that this is the op.
lol, no.
Whats with people? Stop TRYING to find an excuse to argue. Why would I go through the trouble to make another login to attempt to influence your non-appreciative asses, I already feel like I wasted my time. If it wasn't for the poeple who just Surf across this post with a real HH problem, I would stop replying and leave my "Socialphobiaworld" account at what it is. For the people who don't have accounts here and can't reply, I only joined to hopefully help others like you. Regardless that some people have not found releif using Driclor or AF
(or could not stand the pain, or simply applied it wrong "YES THERE IS DIRECTIONS"), it does NOT mean you will not as well. Try this shit. If it burns- suck it up... if its too much pain.. then shut the **** up cause you don't SUFFER from HH bad enough then. Some people will go through any extent of pain if it ment not sweating anymore. Some people are here to help others and obviously this stuff (or Driclor) HAS worked for many with severe HH, so INSTEAD of knocking the post, the OP, or others who say it has worked- TRY it, if it burns THEN decide if you want to tolerate it. Its $5 bucks.
I personally had the burning with Driclor and with AF I didn't... That was the only difference to me and it's possible that my underarms were not completely dry when I applied the Driclor or something similar, resulting in the irritation. I have read though you can apply Cortisol Cream or whatever to your underarm to reduce the irritation. If I would have known nothing would work for me when my Doc gave me Driclor the first time, I would have sucked up the pain and went through with it. In my own stupidity, I figured there has to be a less painful method out there. Luckily AF was that 'alternative' method however even if it did burn, I would do whatever it took
IF I KNEW 100% it would stop my sweating... which now- I am pretty sure I can contend to.
UPDATE:
It's been a couple weeks now, still
COMPLETELY dry.
I wanted to find out how long I could go without applying AF to my underarms before I would start sweating again. Last time I applied was Wednesday night (2/18/09) and Today is the first sign of sweat, Monday (2/23/09). In the meantime I wore normal Anti-Persperant/Deoderant. I was in the Gym for about 1 1/2 - 2 hours Thurs, Fri, and Sat with NO underarms sweat. Sunday I kind of felt like my underarms had a slight 'mistiness' to them but appeared to be dry. Today at about 9:30 I noticed small sweat spots, still
greatly reduced from my normal puddle by now. I will be applying again tonight. Looks like I can go about 4-5 days without applying. So, to be sure I will not get irritation or chafed underarms, I will apply once every 3 nights, maybe 4.
