Traveling through customs with iontophorosis machine

Are there any recent experiences with traveling through customs with your machine? I plan to put it in my checked luggage. I am a little worried with so many new worries that someone may think it's some sort of machine for Bad.
Any stories to share and some advice? Thanks!

I've gone through the airport several times with my ionto device and no one has ever said anything to me. I brought it with my carry on because I was worried that the baggage handlers would throw around my luggage and break it if I were to put the device with my checked baggage.

However, I have not gone out of the country with my ionto device. I have been to the Philippines, but I didn't bring it with me. Philippines is pretty corrupt so I don't know how that will pan out.

As long as you let them know that it is a medical device, you'll have no problems.
