Too late to enjoy a relationship?

I'm almost 32 (in a few months), and as some of you know; I have never experienced love or sex. I just wonder if it really matters to experience this at the age of 35 and beyond?

What's the point of having sex when you have almost lost your sex drive anyway? I have wasted my young adulthood, and it really hurts when I think about it...

I wonder what you guys think, especially those who are about my age?

Your eyes are moist, you scream and shout
As though you were a man possessed
From deep inside comes rushing forth
All the anguish you suppressed
Up on your wall hangs your degree
Your parents craved so much for you
And though you're trained to make your mark
You still don't quite know what to do

It's never too late to start all over again
To love the people who caused the pain
And help them learn your name
Oh, no, not too late
It's never too late to start all over again

Well, it's much too late to start again
To try and find a little bliss
So on your woman and your child
You release your bitterness
You drift apart some more each day
You feel the guilt and loneliness
And the God of your childhood you can't find
To save you from your emptiness

It's never too late to start all over again
To love the people who caused the pain
And help them learn your name
Oh, no, not too late
It's never too late to start all over again

You say you've only got one life to live
And when your dead your gone
Your family comes to your grave
And with tears in their eyes
They tell you, you did something wrong
"You left us alone"

Tell me who's to say after all is done
And you're finally gone, you won't be back again
You can find a way to change today
You don't have to wait 'til then

It's never too late to start all over again
To love the people who caused the pain
And help them learn your name
Oh, no, not too late
It's never too late to start all over again

I've been single for 11 years, and I thought I had "cured" myself of needing relationships. Then last year I was unexpectedly given a chance to date someone, and suddenly all the old needs etc. came flooding back. Unfortunately I completely blew the chance I was given (imagine Bill Buckner and Scott Norwood having an illegitimate child. If you don't understand the reference look it up) and so I've been mad at myself for it ever since. But I consider myself older and wiser for it, and I realize that I do want relationships etc. even though I've been out of the game for a while.

You lost your sex drive? Let me ask you a question. You mean, when you see a woman you think is hot, you don't feel anything?

Feeling something is not enough. It's an awkward topic to elaborate. I feel like I'm aging very fast. I wasn't like this five years ago, or even two years ago. I lack energy, seeing a beautiful woman does little to me. I assume some people's sex drive decline faster.

too late?

Theres no such thing as too late. In my oponion stress and pressure is whats really killing your drive. Since you are so old you have been getting worn down by society that sells the propaganda that every one must be in a relationship or else you are worth less. Because of this propaganda the divorce rate is out of control because too many people hook up or marry just becaue of pressure and not because of a true intress in the concept of relationship. If you look closely many people are just together physicaly. They have no mental or spiritualy connection.

Let me ask you an odd question. What is your definition of a relationship? Its sounds simple but is a very importan question to write down. I use to think that I didnt socialize untill I realize I have been doing it all along. I just was the stereo typical Mtv difinition. What is your defination a relationship?

TAMPA-BAY,

Of course a relationship is much more than sex, but I truly believe that if you have never experienced sex between 20-35 you have missed the boat. And if you start thinking about it you feel guilty.

No, man, you are still young, like me(i'm31, 32 in Aug.) And I keep reminding myself that there is still time for a relationship some day. I am just waiting for the RIGHT one! Chill, don't worry about it. 8)

So what? Love isn't about sex. You can achieve the same satisfaction all by yourself.

When you do meet the girl of your dreams, you'll appreciate more important things than that, I'm sure. And I agree, never give up hope.

Hi krs2snow, you seem so energetic and positive

We'll see what tomorrow brings- my moods can change like the wind! :( :D    < see what I mean! :D

But really, you will meet someone! And don't listen to

Sex starts to get gross when people are over 30.

 Dumb.

Experiencing sex after 34-35 (for the first time) is simply vain. I think people who argue otherwise are just trying to be nice.
