Has anyone on here tried or had success with using a Tens Machine to reduce their HH?

I was speaking with a Doc yesterday who said it's something I should try.

Anyone had a go?

Cheers.

I am guessing he was referring to an iontophoresis machine. I'm not sure how a Ten's machine would be effective.

tens machines are great for relaxation, and physical pain
if your in the uk, you can get them from loyds, or boots (if not try ebay)

dont turn it up too high to begin with, cause you may feel like your in shock therapy
(you can change the speeds and pulseratings n suff)

Thanks for your replies guys.

We've got a Tens machine as my wife used one when she was pregnant, helped her through the labour pains. I've also used it myself for pain relief as I've had two discs done in my lower back and it did help. Trouble is we can't find it - lol!

When we do I'm gonna give it a try and see if it works, just wondered if anyone else had tried it. I'm also unsure where to apply the electrodes/pads, around the area where my sympathetic nerve is or the areas affected. By the way, it's for compensatory sweating as I had ETS surgery a few years back for Planter and Axilla HH.
