i did a bit of speed (alot) had some other bad experiances while on other drugs a couple times due to sp and it seems to have made it fairly horrible so im wondering is this a permanent thing or will it fade? cause before it wasnt that bad i wouldnt get it with my friends or while walking alone but now i can barely leave the house and i do NOT enjoy seeing my friends one bit.

lol ive never done drugs and im like that,im the same wayive done acid, and mescaline as a teenager and ,and i think it had made the situation worse ,i dont know if i have flashbacks or just feeling lost as part of panic attack.i dont think speed would affect that , but i really have no clue.

I have taken Speed, ecstacy and acid (experimented between the ages of 18 - 21)
I had my first panic attach on acid, its an aweful drug, and speed definitely contributes to anxiety 100%. Smoking grass also does.
I cant say whether this has contributed to me getting SA but i was fine before i tried drugs so i think it does!
Just say NO, better not to try any at all![/code]

Amebix,

Speed is a real nasty drug for anyone who has social phobia or deals with anxiety, as it pot. Because they really make us more paranoid about our world. I've done a lot of both. Kick it to the curb now or a heart attack both real or imagined awaits you.

Our bodies are quite fragile but will recover far quicker than our mind will.

The effects of your anxiety will lessen if you stop taking any more drugs but if you continue, you risk letting your mind run even more out of control causing you to become agitated, confused, paranoid uncontrollably. This isnt very pleasant.

You may have experienced a release of massive stress, whereas before it wasnt too bad, this could be due to many things going on in your life, but it has definitely made your anxiety worse. What seemed alright and quite pleasurable initially has now errupted in your mind and has strengthened the power of this anxious mind.

The mind of anxiety needs to be pacified, not strengthened. I can truly say that stopping the drugs and being of more stable mind is the best drug of all. You can have control over your anxiety, but you must want to.
And wanting to have control over your anxiety means wanting control over your mind.

I hope all works out. Take care.

Jack
