---- Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word

(Sorry seems to be the hardest word)

What I got to do to make you love me?
What I got to do to make you care?
What do I do when lightning strikes me?
And I wake to find that you're not there?

What I got to go to make you want me?
What I got to do to be heard?
What do I say when it's all over?
Sorry seems to be the hardest word.

It's sad, so sad
It's a sad, sad situation.
And it's getting more and more absurd.
It's sad, so sad
Why can't we talk it over?
Oh it seems to me
That sorry seems to be the hardest word.

What do I do to make you want me?
What I got to do to be heard?
What do I say when it's all over?
Sorry seems to be the hardest word.

It's sad, so sad
It's a sad, sad situation.
And it's getting more and more absurd.
It's sad, so sad
Why can't we talk it over?
Oh it seems to me
That sorry seems to be the hardest word.

Yeh. Sorry

What I got to do to make you love me?
What I got to do to be heard?
What do I do when lightning strikes me?
What have I got to do?
What have I got to do?
When sorry seems to be the hardest word.

I am into final fantasy music lately. I am especially impressed by the theme song of FFX (and I haven’t even played the game!) It's so beautiful that I learned to play the piano just so that I can play it myself!
Here's the orchestral version.

Oh and another one....

Good Charlotte - Day That I Die

I dont understand why people post the lyrics, i dont think they mean much without the melody, its music not poetry, so if ur curious as to how the song is like, go download it or buy it.

I've never played the game before either but I've been trying to learn that song too...although it's taking me a while, lol.

I know what you mean. I have only been playing piano for a couple of months so the song is way too hard for me. But I have been practicing like the madman I am and I can play it halfway trough now. I think I've inspired my neighbours to move to a more peaceful environment. :)

It's really fun and it took me away from my sa for awhile because you are lost in the world.

I have had a similar experience playing Baldur's Gate. I discovered the game when I was 14 and I did nothing but play it until I finished it two weeks later. Those where easily some of the best weeks of my life!

Role-playing games are a great way to escape from SA and the world.

I'd consider myself something of a music nut and I haven't heard of some of the bands listed here. That's good! Gives me some fresh ideas.

Here's what I pulled from my personal vault:

"Random Rules" by the Silver Jews. Has a lyric that always sends chills down my spine: I asked the painter why the roads are colored black. He said, "Steve, it's because people leave and no highway will bring them back."

"Jeremy" by Pearl Jam. In itself a decent song, but check it out along with the unedited version of the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RUkZqY0aEiI I warn you, it's pretty powerful the first few times around... there's a reason it was banned.

"Emily" by Joanna Newsom. Definitely an acquired taste, I'd recommend this one for fairly mature listeners. Harps and violins and the whole nine. She's exploded in the indie music scene. Check out the lyrics too: http://www.sing365.com/music/lyric.nsf/Emily-lyrics-Joanna-Newsom/CFBDCEAA2854FC39482571F1000F6A7B

Finally, for those with more metally tastes:
"Autumnal Fires" by Mourning Beloveth. Far from accessible, far from catchy, and sometimes, due to the vocal delivery  you will want a lyrics sheet. But I'd recommend it to those with.... darker.... tastes.

*kisses Edith on her (colored pencil?) lips* Very good songs. Embarassingly, I was first exposed to Broken Social Scene via the horrid chick-flick known as Wicker Park, which has a fairly solid soundtrack as I recall. Lover's Spit was on it I know.

Anyway, cheers! I was wondering where all the indie-kids (if that's appropriate) were hiding on these boards.

Elenor Rigby! Ah! That song actually brings back really good memories for me. It's from Revolver, the first album anyone's ever burned for me. I was lucky to have had some very musically "in-tune" friends in my teens.
