1. Some form of meditation like walking with awareness....can be useful.
2. When i am too tense, i cannot do even small things. That is not the time to face difficult situations. Give the mind rest....even using medicine is not bad. A walk in the park, watching mr.bean. Mind is too gross now....so don't sweat too much.
3. My problem is mind related...and who is the expert with mind? Its the (Buddhist) meditators. Go to them and spend time with them or in calm places. Psychologists have read a lot of books , but lack in dealing with their own mind.
4. When i feel ok...i try and help others....but also be careful in not burning out myself. Doing wholesome deeds is a good karma....it will have a positive impact on my mind. Doing unwholesome deeds like watching porn, or taking alcohol can lead to guilt etc.
p.s: Who is the expert in peeling a banana? A monkey....it peels the banana from the bottom which is the right way to peel. Similarly meditators understand the mind and are experts....go to them for solutions....or be a meditator yourself.
