There's a girl I'd seen at a party a few times but I never really got to know her. I'd look at her and she'd see me but we never talked. I always felt like it was because she didnt want to talk to me. But I talked to her the other day when I saw her around school. Basically, I ended up admitting that I was shy and she said she was too. Later she said she wanted to give me her number (we're friends 
). So maybe that's why she never talked to me. It's encouraging, at least to me, to know that she wasn't ignoring me and that someone I perceived as being as really social was actually shy. I dunno. I still have trouble with other things but I think approaching people has gotten easier for me.
