To help with Social Anxiety I would highly recommened cutting out the stimulants in your diet. By this I mean Caffeine and tobacco or anything that acts like a stimulant. So that means Coffee,Tea,pop,tobaco and chocolates. This is going to be a hard thing for most but I found it really does help. It can take up to one whole month to come off caffeine and there will be withdrawl symptoms on the way. However after this period you can be just as energetic and mentally quick without caffeine. OK here's a bit of science: Caffeine has an effect on the adrenal gland in your body which secreates adrenalin. So your body is pumped and on edge. Adrenaline is linked to the flight or flight responce and this is how alot of people feel when anxious or when they start to panic. Cut the stimulants and I think you will feel alot better and be more calm dealing with situations.
