Seroxat and Dogmatil Do u know these drugs?

hey, i started taking seroxat last week (finally went to psychiatrist). i take 20mg a day. its my first med for SP. doc told it will start working in a week or two. i have nausea, feel weak and sleepy, in a word i feel sick 
and have a bad taste of mushrooms in my mouth all the time. it is said in the instruction that its not recommended to use alcohol but i dont know, does a bottle of beer can really affect it so much? but ill stop drinking and see.
i hope it doesnt get too bad and i continue taking it for those 2 weeks when have to visit doc again.
