The danger is sitting there without doing anything because your mind starts generating an endless cycle of negative thoughts which only serve to drag you into deeper depression. To break this cycle I suggest distracting yourself with some positive hobbies. Try watching funny videos on youtube, your favorite TV show, or something you enjoy. Or listen to music like "through the rain" (mariah carey) or "dare you to move" (switchfoot). Grab a cup of coffee or tea. Do some yoga and exercise (there are youtube videos for those).
