brain states and their uses
ALPHA:
A person who has completed a task and sits down to rest is often in an alpha state. A person who takes time out to reflect or meditate is usually in an alpha state. A person who takes a break from a conference and walks in the garden is often in an alpha state. Also just before you are bright eyed and bushy tailed when you wake up. BETA:
When the brain is aroused and actively engaged in mental activities, it generates beta waves. A person in active conversation would be in beta. A debater would be in high beta. THETA:

DELTA:
Delta sleep is our deepest sleep, the point when our brain waves are least like waking. Interestingly, delta sleep is when sleep walking and sleep talking is most likely to occur. Delta is the brain wave signal of the subconscious, the seat from which intuition arises. It is extremely rare to have conscious awareness of delta brainwaves. Only certain highly spiritual individuals, gurus, yogis, monks, and avid meditators usually are able to consciously access this brainwave range. GAMMA:

I would advise you to look over everything first, follow all my blogs, take a look, take your time, and i trust you to use common sense when doing anything that effects your brain. I myself use these daily and have seen first hand the benefits for myself and others when used properly with understanding. I encourage you to do some more research on your own if and when you can.
