Saving money due to no social life

Most young people spend their money on drinking, but I find this a waste of money. Instead I spend my money on my hobbies. I brought a sportscar a week ago and it's because I don't waste money on drinking and I don't smoke. That's one good thing about being social phobic; I don't socialize so I have money to spend on things that interest me. So if anyone asks me how can you save money like you do, I'll just tell them to be social phobic

Hahahaha, i was thinking about the exact same thing the other day. I want a new computer, so when i get a job it won't be a problem to save for.

There have been studies that say social phobics have the lowest incomes in society because of their lack of social skills (which most jobs require us to have). What's funny is that we don't need to spend as much to live out life.

yes this is true. I prefer to dress badly as well because I don't need to care about people are thinking anyways. I like to spend money on stuff like DVDS, computer games, internet, books etc.

Hahaha, you're absolutely right :) . Most women I know are obsessed with fashion and shoes. But since I never go anywhere I don't have to spend lots of money on these things. A couple pairs of jeans, a couple of sweaters and t-shirts, a pair of hiking boots and sport shoes and I'm all set. The only thing I spend money on are books. My husband is such a lucky guy that he's got a wife like me. No shopping sprees, no visits to restaurants, no parties, no movie theater. . .

I have read somewhere the statistic that the SPers are the total strike for budget, because we cannot keep a steady job i presume.Infact, i cannot keep any job although i m full of various creative ideas they demand some human2human interaction.

If you are bipolar, which most of SPers are , you most likly dont know rational how money can u spend because of mood swings. When i am at last happy for a moment i imagine i could do anything. So , i m very bad for my budget and for anyone that lives with me. I should better look at the celling for life.

Aaah! A low maintainance lady, makes a change

I would love to pamper a girl though, because I have never experienced what it's like to buy flowers and things to a girl.

I work in a lab for the construction industry, but I'm living at home so I have money to burn. And my dad shares the car with me, so the costs of running it is split that way.

Haha, yeah, that is indeed one benefit of not being very social. My brother is very social and popular, and he is always going out and spending his money, and he is so broke all the time, even though he has a full time job. Yet I'm at school full time and have no job, yet I still always seem to have more money than him all the time.
