After a discussion with my doctor she is contacting a dermatologist about me trying Robinul. However according to her medical bible of what is allowed in the UK Robinul over here comes in powder form, is this correct as thats all the book said? However its £110 a treatment (no idea what that will be on the NHS).
Any one else had robinul in the UK?

You've beaten me to a very similar question my friend.

I had ETS surgery several years back but gradually over time my compensatory sweating has become worse. My chest and back area are wet through at just the thought of heat or exercise. I expect to sweat when playing football or when I'm riding my bike etc. but even a brisk walk has me wet through.

I looked at getting some secure wipes but they're not cheap and not readily available in the UK. Luckily for me my wife is a pharmacist and I ask her to do a bit of digging about and the Robinul Powder is what I'm going to try. The price varies from £110-£140 depending on where you get it from, however, my Doctor has given me an NHS prescription and I have an annual pre-paid script so it won't cost me anything. Your GP should be able to do the same for you so if you haven't got a pre-paid script then you'll just pay your normal NHS script charge.

I hope that helps mate but as soon as I've got mine and tested it out then I'll let you know the results.

Regards.

Darren.
