Sometimes one of the harsest things in life to deal with is regret. The amount of things i regret is large, not only that, but i regret the things i know led to the later things i regret. because of this regret, and the fact that i know it was my own doing, it made it hard to be the person i wanted to be, the person i was and realse now i still am because of the guilt and lack of forgiveness, i felt i had to live up to what i had become, rather than the person i wanted to be. I didnt like the person i had become, but i thought well this must be me, so im better of living with it. How very wrong i was. I was miserable with the person i had become and could never understand why i could never just be happy?
Truth is. Im sure alot of you can relate to that, being the quite person for so many years might make you think you can never be the confident person now because that just what life has made you, and that is your place. That is not true. People around you, just like you, have agreat ability to adapt, if you decide to change, so will the people around you.
What im about to say is alot easier said than done, it is for as well, but the world around is merely ourrception on how things are, rather how they actualy are. to be honest i think 'how they are' doesnt actualy exist. One person with 5 kids and no money could be depressed about having no money, another person can be happy being blessed with 5 children. Just like you get people with loads of friends, but they feel really lonely amoungst all of them! ive felt like this before, sometimes still do.
try and become in a frame of mind where this is no right or wrong way to be, no expectations and no limitations.
think for a moment, why does anyone have the right to be more confident or happy about themselves than you do? why do some people have the right to be more successful? they dont, they just give themselves that right.
so try and cut yaselfs some slack and do something good for yaselfs!
