Has anyone ever had a fast result re medication? The doctor prescribed Escitalopram (Cipralex) 10mg tablets for me (for my anxiety) today and I took the first one at about five o'clock. I felt a bit sleepy about an hour later but that wore off and about three hours later I began to feel very calm - still do.
This time yesterday I felt so anxious that my stomach was churning, my legs were like jelly etc so it's probably maybe more to do with the fact I've seen the doctor, arranged for an anxiety management course etc, I dunno.
Or is it...? I know tablets are normally meant to take two weeks to kick in but has anyone else here ever experienced almost immediate results?
