Questions I hate

As a sufferer of SA, I hate the following questions:

What have you got planned for the weekend? (there are only so many times you can get away with 'not much')

How was your weekend? (alright, just don't ask what I did)

What did you get up to on the weekend? (you had to ask)

Seems like I should maybe try to do something on the weekend.

I hate the question "What are you doing for your birthday?" Plus all the ones you just mentioned.

I hate people asking me those questions. I love asking those questions though, because people can yap on for hours. That means less attention on me!

I also hate "You are looking a little sad, what happened?" When I am sitting somewhere in public, trying to breath through a fit of panic, and here's someone approaching me, evidently feeling obliged to help the outsider. I know I can hardly blame them, in fact it's nice and they are just trying to be friendly. But I still hate the question, it always reduces me to a pathetic baby.

So true about these questions! The truth is I am quite productive at weekends ie - Playing my guitar, driving my car etc etc, but I do all these on my own so that's what I am embarassed about. I mean most people my age go out to clubs with their friends.

I lose count of how many times, I've said "Nothing Much" or "Alright" to those sorts of questions.

Me too! I do stuff, but it's solitary stuff that i do. Some people seem to think because someone doesn't spend their weekends with other people partying, they are weird o'r something.

Yeah I know what you mean, I do plenty of stuff at the weekends, but I don't want to get into a drawn out conversation or have to explain myself, so I just end up giving the minimum response required.
