I'm making my own iontophoresis machine based on the instructions from shannonbowling on youtube:
YouTube - Cure Sweaty Hands, Palms, Hyperhidrosis, Hyperhydrosis
In his video, he uses a 24V 300mA AC/DC power adapter. Since he states in his video that the amperage of the power adapter doesn't matter, I went out and bought this unit (18/24V 1000mA):
The Source By Circuit City : AC Adapters & Plugs - NEXXTECH 18/24VDC 1000 MA AC ADAPTER
However, when I stick my hands in my aluminum trays, I can barely keep them in there for few seconds as all the muscles in my hands quickly contract. Is it possible he is wrong about the amperage? On some of the commercial units, I see they recommend settings of 15-30mA.
Any help would be appreciated!
