It's starting to look like a Griswald's family christmas. Extravagant christmas lights illuminating in multi coloured neon hues. Santas and sleighs, coloured snake light strings of lights draped in trees, over roofs, and framing windows.

I feel alright! I found out that some co-workers didn't want to work with me since i talk and ask too much. This is because i'm afraid for silence in a conversation. But i changed that and started to talk a little more on impulse. Ofcourse i became more quiet but it is less fake. And guess what? one of the assistants told me people like to work with me now, even someone who doesn't connect with people easily. But yeah, i still have the fear of silences and that people won't like me. So i still say stupid stuff because of that or i get nervous and can't find the right words....::eek:: but talking less is still much better then acting fake:)

not sure where else to put this, but here goes. a few months ago i was really lonely and more bored than usual, so i setup an account on a dating site, but after a day or two, i realised it was pointless and so i forgot about it completely, even making a really boring profile for myself, hoping not to attract any attention. i log on to my email account yesterday and there are two messages for me. one from someone in my country and another one from overseas. i message back the one from my country and she seems genuine, but as i'm not taking this seriously and don't pay money to the site, my messages can't be seen by her. the one from overseas is this incredibly beautiful girl. she says she wants to get to know me better, and gives me her email address. i log on today to check again - i guess to make sure i'm not hallucinating, and all of a sudden she's gone. no record of any message and her profile doesn't exist.

probably just a scam, right???

Oh, wow. Yes, be careful when using dating sites. Email addresses can easily be made up and then abandoned. Dating sites' profiles can also be made up, we're left with trusting the typed/written words of who? We don't know.

Not saying don't try it out, these sites, just be mindful and keep yourself a little reserved.

You have right to feel confused. Think it over and try to understand it so know what's what.

Should I grow a beard? They seem to in at the moment

this will totally confuse all the folk who think I'm female

To be honest, long ago I thought you were a woman XD

If you do, remember to take a pic before and after and post it here so we can give you our opinion :D

I haven't shaved in 2-3 weeks, but didn't actually plan it. I like my beard (though at 20 I'm still not very "beardy" :p) and I think I'm going to keep it, with some style

mine has been growing for a week

we should start a "post pics of your beard" thread

Yeah i'm pretty cynical about these things anyway. i suppose it's better to stay on the side of caution. but i guess if it is some type of scam, guys in my position would be easy targets. yes i guess i'll think it through a bit. i guess just ignoring it wouldn't change the way things were going anyway. thanks for the response. i haven't seen you around in a while. what have you been up to? everything good, i hope :)

Absolutely. All male Spartans sported beards. What could be cooler? ;)

I grew a beard for hunting season this year and like it so much that I may just keep it!

OH, I don't think I'm posting my face again haha

Btw I keep the beard mostly so I can hide part of my face :/
How much can cost a burqa? :p

You know what's sad? The fact that captcha codes now have ads before you can even view them. -.- After I skipped the ad, my code said "divorce me." I didn't know I was married.

*laughs*

Yeah, me too. Cross dresser avatars sort of mess with my head.

Some guys really suit beards. My father had a beard when I was little, so I think I associate them with hugs.

Do you guys celebrate Movember?
