1. A guy I know got back in touch with me yesterday after a very long time without speaking. I kind of ended the friendship gradually because of a few reasons, and I think he wants to get together and catch up. I might be okay with this.
2. I saw my friend who's basically my only hope of getting the job I applied for a couple of days ago. He said he's going to talk to his boss and recommend me. I reckon that's the only shot I've got of getting the job - my resume is not going to cut it!
