Don't be so down on yourself. Give it some time...people barely acknowledge me half the time too so don't take it personal. Have you tried posting a thread of your own to talk about your life and things you go through ? It might help people understand who you are what your goal is with being here. I don't think you're invisible...not at all.

We come here to get help but also to get some attention and socialize a little bit , most of us feel abandoned and left out , i feel ignored as well but in reality people just might not know what to answer , or simply are not interested , that's reality. Every single one of us is selfish to a degree , and would like to have the spotlight on them a little , that's perfectly normal , i love having attention it makes me feel good . But you gotta remember that not everyone is gonna have something to reply , nothing more , nothing personal , you look like a really cool dude !

it's not so much about getting replies, as it is about expressing yourself

remember, the people here have social anxiety - just because they didn't say anything doesn't mean they weren't there, reading and absorbing what you wrote

Please don't give up. It was hard for me at first, but I kept trying and now I've got people responding to my posts and, overall, just talking with me. It might take a while, but just keep on posting and we'll get more and more interactive with you, I promise.

I've never used an iBad (sorry, the pun is required since I'm a linux geek), but you should be able to post pictures, as long as you can somehow find an image's url (use google image search). I know I can do it on my *ahem* Android device.

I used to have a droid:) I'm no apple snob so I can totally admit when it fails me in some areas. I haven't found a way to post here with iPad...I'm fairly proficient in using it but haven't gotten the picture posting trick yet.

Haha, maybe it was a trap. I'll never know for sure. The exact same scenario could happen today and I'd have no chance of changing my actions, either.

I've only been here about 3 weeks or less and I've gotten many good replies, some short replies, and some ignores, but I like this forum already. Lots of friendly people and I'm sure you'd think the same.

It's up to you, though.

Try starting a new thread about something; anything. That always helps me to feel special when I'm feeling left out. :p

Whoa, I just....... whoa. Just when I was thinking about how I needed to make more friends around here, someone shows up and befriends me. A guy, but he's really funny, really nice, and not bad looking :D And he kept talking to me, persistently (but not annoyingly). There is a god! :p

No, but really, how's that for luck? I didn't even have to go out and make this one, he just fell into my lap..... ummm, not literally, lol. My evening has officially been made.
