The majority of the people I talk to online are female.

I know where you're going with this. It's actually harder to get people interested in meeting you online (unless its a dating site) than it is in person. Yeah I can be more myself online, and not the closed off social phobic like I am in person, but you have to get past peoples fears of meeting someone on the web or long distance relationships. Anyways I'm sorry, I'm throwing a pity party again. I'm gonna take a nap. Maybe I'll feel better when I get up.

I'm thinking about whether or not I prefer having different friendship groups, or just 'different individual friendships'. If that makes sense.
Sometimes it feels that within a group dynamic it just feels as though there's too much scope for internal gossip.

I've always been the one to pour milk first, then chocolate. Not the other way around.

I think some people have this preconceived notion that the opposite sex is a monster out to humiliate you. In most cases, that's not true at all. You just have to...get yourself noticed? I guess

No I've never tried that before. And yeah I do need to find a way to be less invisible.

but then, i also get you and NathanielWingatePeaslee mixed up - maybe it has to do with the length

obviously, you're much cuter and have far fewer suckers on your tentacles

I know what you mean here. It makes it hard to approach women when the best opening line I have is something stupid like, "hey" or "how about this weather".

Just yesterday, actually, a mate of mine and I were walking from the beach and there were two girls in bikinis. One of them acted interested in us and wanted us to notice her, so she was sticking her bum out and giggling. Neither of us did anything (although my mate would've, but he said he didn't notice her actions). He asked why I didn't approach them, and I told him that there was no way I could ever do that.

That's also not the first time cute girls on the beach have appeared interested in us, either.

Heh, I don't think girls are monsters, but they're certainly overwhelming and frightening for me!

LOL:D I also hate when the plastic packaging is so sharp you end up with cuts on your fingers after wrestling with it lol :rolleyes:

Hey, why are you all yelling at me to change my name::(:? I was only gone for a few seconds and, within that time, everyone decided to hold a "Let's Hate Deadman!" meeting? *goes to the corner and cries*

On another note, I got a new roommate! Hahahahaha, please God or whatever powers that be, why do you have to do this to me? Don't get me wrong, I don't hate the person, I just hate the concept of having another person in my dorm. One was fine, but two (even though it was just an empty space) is pushing it!

i feel like giving up on this forum i donno i feel i have tried to get involved and have had some brief replys but overall i feel everyone else it getting on and my posts are just mostly ignored.
being here is just starting to make me feel worse if anything as its confirming the fact im destined to be invisible

Hey, don't feel so down.

First, nobody was yelling.

Second, I said "one of you" change your name, not you, specifically. You and Dead_On_Arrival can sort it out amongst yourselves in a bear-wrestling contest. Be sure to put it up on YouTube when you're done.

(Also I was totally kidding about everything except the bear-wrestling)

I felt exactly the same way until... sometime just in the last few days. A lot of us feel invisible around here.
