need to get away, out of the house today
I know that feeling. I will be doing the same thing later today myself. Any reason you "need" to get away?

Just curious: are you bored? :giggle:

I practiced some more driving today without completely freaking out and being overly anxious. Success! I'm almost ready for my roadtest, but I still won't be surprised if I don't get my license the first time around.
Lots of people fail the test first time around. I was lucky and got mine on my first attempt, but don't be discouraged if you fail. Good luck!

Not going anywhere today there is torrential rain outside. Thanks to the tail end of ex cyclone Oswald.
It's overcast here but no longer raining as it was overnight. Maybe we're getting the tail end of the tail of that cyclone! Poor Queenslanders.

^ Yeah I do realize that. My brother had to take his test three times before he got his license. Lucky you on getting it the first time around! My test isn't for another week and a half, but thanks for the luck I'll need it.

I should be doing homework. I have a whole bunch of reading to catch up on now that I finally got my very last textbook in the mail today and remembered the articles on the college webpage my professor posted. I want to reread a chapter for Philosophy and answer some chapter questions, just so I know I'm comprehending it okay. Plus I have a summary to type up with articles printed and work cited, which I have to present in lab on Tuesday. :S

...But instead I'm on here as usual. I think I'll be taking another long hiatus soon.

Look at you, being all busy and such! :) I hope the test and the summary all work out, and if it means taking a hiatus, then do what's best for you.

^ I hate the busywork. Wanna trade places? You'll get a guarantee supply of college girls swooning over that Australian accent. ;)

That hiatus I took last semester went really well, so yeah I'll definitely be doing so again very soon.

Date went pretty well tonight. :]
^ Awesome!

They may swoon, but I will have no idea what to do with that! ;)

If you do, I'll email you sometimes, haha.

Just at the moment I'm finding being at home the most depressing place to be, I shut down and waste the day

I've seen your posts lately and you sound really bad, I hope you feel better very soon (I can completely relate to your post, by the way).

The song "In the Flesh " by Pink Floyd scared me in high school.

Because I felt different, and it was like the spot light of bullies was on me. Particularly the part about "Are there any queers in room? Get em up against the wall."

I was homophobically teased at high school, I wasn't gay, but I was still coming to terms with my sexuality. It destroyed my sexual morale and my self esteem, and I have not been able to develop any relationships at all since, no friends, no lovers.

My allergies are driving me nuts. Yes allergies. And I'm feeling rather grumpy and frustrated with my life. I can't wait to start work, I REALLY can't. Customers suck but it's good to be busy. I need a purpose.

Is it racist to imagine my former bullies all having grown up and ended up on the TV show Cops? I just feel from their many levels of perpetual abuse and our county's schools being among the worst in the US that that is where they ended up.

^^^ You should do it! And nothing is offensive about beards, well, unless you style them into an offensive shape or word... But you know what I mean. ;)

You should, Kia! You should! Beards are good - even epic ones like that one lol. It just needs a bit of a comb though... Besides which, I think short beards are very attractive. ;) And with each year I age I find the length at which I find beards attractive increases, so by the time I'm 50 that one should be about right lol.
