Your eyes.
The first mirror of my existence.
The reflection of me inside of you.
I want to resemble it again.
Broken days.
Where so many tears fell.
I want to fill them again.
I tried to hide in you warmth
For that brief time you were my world.

Your hands.
The balance of the world truth and lies.
My life's globe.
Remember the winter when we built a snowman together?
Both of our hands froze.
I held your hands tight
But I let go out of stupidity.
Your voice.
I want to hear again.

Your hands.
Your eyes.
I want to hold your hands.
Look in your eyes forever.
I already want to turn back time.

You know I do.
I do love you.
Even the sounds of your faltering voice
And your disappearing silhouette
I do.
I do.
Love you.
Every piece of you.

I wish I could grasp time in my hands and control it.
I would turn time back so you could be me.
So you could see the joy you've brought to me.
If I cut your life in half,
You'd live one half all for me.
and the other,
for me too.
Dreams of you run through my mind
Breath constricted, I shut my eyes and shove the thoughts away.

How long can I keep receiving?
Everything is stacked up.
Neat piles in my mind,
Never to be forgotten.
Should I reject them because of uncomfortableness?
I'm sick of it all.
I'll follow you.
I'll move on with my life.
This bittersweet symphony will play on.
But
I'll follow in your footsteps.

You know I do.
I do love you.
Even the sounds of your faltering voice
And your disappearing silhouette
I do love you.
Every piece of you.

Sorry, corny poem and long post. > <
