People laughing at you

This happens a lot to me, people start to laugh when pass by me.
And they are alone...
I went to a doctor months ago, and when I sat down, he started to laugh desperately at me.
When this happens I arrive at home like: "What's wrong with me?"
And people say I'm the most common kind of guy ever, and my clothes couldn't be more common too.

The girl laughing at me today was really ugly, that makes me even more self conscious, because I was like "this bitch is laughing at me, I'm lower than this bitch".

When I'm confident this don't happen. (used to take lots of drugs)
Confused...

I just want to scream till my head explode.

Are you kidding me?! At least people have the decency to not laugh at me directly to my face. That's very unprofessional of a doctor to do..

I think there is a portion of "I interpret their laugh as they are laughing at me". Though there are such people, most of them are shallow and probably too elementary to find better ways for entertainment.
I guess sometimes you feel like kicking those people on the streets...?

Honestly, simple answer is to ask someone. You could be doing something that you are unaware of. I mean, you ask yourself "whats wrong with me". Maybe you should ask someone else and they can tell you. Answer could be right under your nose and you don't know it.

If anything, ask a therapist/counselor if you don't trust anyone.

I have a similar problem, like I could be anywhere and if I hear someone laughing, I automatically think they are laughing at me for some reason. I usually just try to ignore and move on, I think it's all in my head.

But if there's a situation where someone does laugh in my face, I mean I'd really be bothered by it. But I have to realize that this other person is probably just as insecure as me, I think..o_O

Who gives a rats ass what anybody else thinks, just think about you..it's hard, but try.

Is it possible these people aren't actually laughing at you?

People with self confidence issues... they often search for the slightest signs that might reinforce their beliefs of them being worthless and pathetic or whatever.

If someone feels they're extremely ugly, they're gonna pay extra attention to how people look at them etc. They're fixated on this belief and need validation for their insecurity.

Laughing is a pretty common occurence and it's easy to misinterpret. Happens to the best of us man.

Even if you had the most fucked up set of teeth or were morbidly obese, I doubt people would randomly laugh at you in your face. I know it's a cruel world, but that's not how people go about it. They'll stare and giggle behind your back, but rarely to your face - which is what you've described.

If there really was something physically wrong with you that was causing all of this, I'm sure you'd know what it was. If other people notice, you would too.

So this is probably the result of maybe a few bad experiences, but mostly just misunderstandings.
