I iam a 21 international student living in London since september. I don't know a lot of people in london, cause i don't use to go out. I am a bit shy as well. Try the S.A.U.K. website. They have semi-regular meet up's in and around London. I just went to one on saturday and it was good to mix with others going through the same thing.
