Well i have had really bad underarm sweating for the past few years and well im sure you know how it is. Tried every kind of anti perspirant then i came across Odaban, i applied one tiny spray under each arm and well it totally stoped any sweat for like 3/4 days then still after that only the slightest amount.

Well the problem is you put the stuff on at night before you go bed and within minutes of putting it on it itches not really painful or out but enoght to stop you sleeping, the armpits are totally dry. So i was wondering if anyone on here uses the stuff and could give advice?

I was thinking about putting the stuff on 2/3 hours before i go to sleep as i dont sweat at night especially not with odaban on as the itching seems to go away after a few hours, i know it says dont put on in the day but its not really in the day is it then i can handle the itching for a few hours if im watching TV but just cant sleep with it.

I started using "Certain Dri" and tried it during the day and it really didn't work. Next I tried it 2-3 hours before going to bed, just relaxing, laying down. When I woke up in the morning the under arms were dry. I've experienced the itching in the past, now it's light to medium burning that dissipates over time.

I believe they both use aluminum chloride as the active ingredient. "Certain Dri"uses 12%. I also tried it on my fingertips. Not really sure if it worked. It worked great on the under arms and 1-2 applications seams to last for many days. I also thing by achieving dryness in the under arms, my fingertips seamed to sweat more.

Another thing I noticed is when you use an Aluminum Chloride product, try not to wear a colored shirt immediately after applying it. It seams to act like bleach and harm cotton garments. Now I wear a white t-shirt before going to bed.
