Obsession with extraterrestrials and UFOs....

For a week now i've been thinking constantly about Ufology and abductions. The fact that we have all these photographs and personal stories of sightings and abductions is too much for me to ignore, the fact that they could be true changes my outlook on life. Im on Anafranil for OCD and it stopped my OCD about hurting people and I've been doing good about not having obsessions, but this week it seem im back to obsessing. Does anyone else obsess over aliens, im starting to wonder if im crazy or something.

Thank you for you post, it did set my mind to ease knowing someone else did this as well. I guess since there is no way for me to know I should accept that and go on. I've always been different and percieved things differently. Sometimes I wonder if im a halfbreed alien lol

exactly, and this fact is what is making me look differently at my life...how do I Go about my life normally...should I just accept it live life in this controlled society?

im just wondering if I still go to work knowing that its just part of a system, buy things from the system, live a life in the system...i think thats all I can do other then die....enlighten me to some ways the system has us controlled...i may not be aware of some

I got this book of UFO's for my birthday a few years ago, and it is so gross, it details alien sex and shows pictures of alien hybrid babies, they look like mini joan rivers babies actually :?
I got obssesed with the succubus and incubus for awhile to....convinced myself I had to sing there's got to be a morning after backwards for awhile

Just to let you know, that if you truly believe these things then that's all ok, but if these beliefs are obsessions, that you know not to be true even though you think about them all the time and can't quite convince yourself that they aren't true, you've just completely aided your obsession and it's probably made it worse.

But if it's not an obsession, then sorry completely ignore that!

Spike warnings are warnings to other sufferers that the thread contains things that could trigger new obsessions for them.

It's something I got obsessed over a few years ago, convincing myself I was going to be abducted by aliens if I didn't say 'I believe' in my head. Even though I believed aliens didn't exist I was completely consumed by fear and this obsession almost destroyed me.

Having an obsessive interest in something is not obsession in the sense of ocd. Say if you like a certain celebrity and so you find as much information about them as possible, that is not an obsession in the sense of ocd. Ocd probably makes sufferers more obsessive over things like that, but obsessions in one sense and obsessions in ocd are different things.
