Does anyone that has OCD also have an obsession with newness? I am not sure if it is related or not, but I think that it is. I have an absolute obsession with keeping things in their original condition. It is so silly, and it causes me so much grief sometimes. Today, I was getting out of my car, and I accidentally dropped my keys on the ground. For most people, they could care less. I was so upset after this, and I was thinking about it all throughout school. Now I can't stop thinking about the scratch that is on my keyless entry remote. I know there are more important things in life to worry about, but I just can't help it.
I do the same thing with clothes. I wear like five outfits, because I want to keep the other ones in pristine condition. There is obviously no reason to buy clothes if you're not going to wear them.
