Needing advice about...guys?

I've never had a bf and I'm not that confident around guys . .I'm really awkward/shy/nervous even If I don't find them that attractive and when I do like a guy I usually don't tell them that I like them so I'm wondering how can I tell if a guy is attracted to me? and how do i get them to ask me out?

I can only speak for myself, and sorry if I give you advice you have already been given.
I know if I like a girl I like to just spend time with them, getting to know them and just being around them. Like some other people have said, guys will normally give you some sort of sign or attention to try and let you know he likes you, be it flirting, affection or just wanting to be around you.
But some guys are more subtle than others as were afraid of rejection too, so I guess it can be hard and there is not a sure method to know 100% So my advice would be to try and trust your instincts. Also you can always do things like see how they react to things like hugs... or play fighting, or send out signals yourself and see how they respond.
