Hey Porto,
I think you mentioned translating somewhere - have you tried translating sites like ProZ?
There are sites for expats too... sites for different professions and/or freelancers etc.
And online jobs...
I don't know if situation is 'great' in any country in Europe, it would be best if you can find a job before you move... some time ago I think I read Germany would be okay-ish, I don't know what the situation is right now... There are articles and info with job ads from Europe, try to find something there? Have you looked at Eures portals yet? (There are some people employed to help with this, not sure how helpful they are in your country?)
Otherwise, I think Asia and Brazil might be 'booming', but I don't know if they would be good opportunities for international people?
You could also take a look which countries worldwide are least in debt or not at all... (eg Norway is not in debt, but I don't know about the job market there-?? Google says it may not be so easy to find work there, so hm? you can Google up lots of stuff these days, eg 'Norway job market' and use GoogleTranslator if needed-? yup, some people from your area seem to seek work in Norway already?)
It also depends on work you might wanna do/be willing to do... and maybe languages spoken etc. or if you can legally work there, what their unemployment market is and average pay and costs of living etc.
Ideally, you might wanna find someone doing what you might do, and/or expats in that country who could help with info...
Some people went strawberry picking in the season to UK or some other countries (iffy chemicals alert possibly though), or fruit picking to Italy, some years ago... (not sure if that would still be interesting now...)
You could also look for info or ask on Lonely Planet forums or such maybe? Some countries and cities/towns have own job ad boards.. some people just apply and wait to be interviewed, some companies even pay for interesting people to come to interview... or eg for UK some people just go there and call/ask at agencies or contact employers directly.. (this is more for temp jobs or such I think) There seem to be some EU job sites too...
Ideally you'd have money for at least a few months and travel costs in the other country...
Good luck & hope others will be able to tell more!!
