I kind of wonder what his issues are meeting someone from another state? Does he have social anxiety too? What do you really know about him? Love is hard to find, especially for someone with SA. I have no qualms about meeting someone in another state or country, but that does at least raise some questions about him and his motives.
Just be who you are. The right man for you will accept you as you are.
