If national service was compulsory for all male and females starting at age 16, completed at 18.

Do any of you believe this would help or have helped your SA?

I think it would of helped me just because it would of taken me out of my home enviroment and kept me out of trouble sorta thing.

Who knows tho its a high pressure macho male dominated enviroment,so maybe it might of been just as much stress and caused the same problems.But i think it would probaly be a good experience.. teaching respect and disipline... and aslo the self esteem you would build from getting fit doing those exausting runs and training.

I think it would help a little to handle pressure better,in my country is obligatory at 18 years old you stay there for a year.

probably it won't help, by 16 or 18 , you'd already have been a sociphobic.
