My Story - What's wrong with me?

I have some ideas.

First of all, we need to talk about how much you want to change.

On a scale of 1 to 10 ( 10 is the max ) how much are you willing to try?

Secondly, change takes times. Its not going to happen:

* Tomorrow,
* Next month,

or

* Six months from now.

But it can happen.

Let me know if you are ready. Really ready.

By the way it will be hard. Not cost you anything financially. But it will be the hardest thing you have ever done in your life.

So you reckon you are ready to make a change

What I have in mind is sharing with you some knowledge that has been passed on to myself by others.

It involves an understanding of your ( and my ) emotional landscape.

This is a discussion of ideas, values, behaviours that you have acquired ( as I acquired mine ) both consciously and unconsciously.

To change will require:

1) reading some books,
2) emailing back and forth on some specific topics,
3) challenging me with issues you don't understand,
4) not giving up when it gets too hard, not running away....

And of course, total honesty.

Your choice.

WebGuy, one thing you have to realise (and by now probably have) is that a school is a cruel place, full of immature kids and biased teachers.

Thing is, I think you were searching in the wrong place for a girlfriend. You need to consider universities/collages, pubs and best of all, clubs. If you are worried about blushing in a club, in most cases it will be so dark that people won't be able to see your face anyway (or be too drunk to notice :D ).

And you are right, that is unprofessional behaviour from teachers and it's a good thing you left. I hated clearly prejudice teachers like that in my school more than any annoying student, because unlike the students, you couldn't retaliate in any 'meaningful' way.
