I had severe HH since i was a young teenager. I lurked this site for help a few years ago, since then i've found it. I now have a girlfriend, scholarships for collage, a job, and couldn't be happier.

I take:

Glycopyrrolate 1Mg pill 3 times a day
&
Atenolol 50mg pill 1 time every morning.

It took a few months to really get working well, and now a year later, i am completely cured, as long as i continue taking these pills. Good thing is, they are relatively cheep on insurance.

Its worth a try, previously i had dont/tried EVERYTHING and was considering surgery.

I can honestly say this pill changed my life, and might have saved it, who knows what would have happened to me.

Anyways, Stay strong everyone, you wont be like this forever, just keep trying.

How did you come to start taking Atenolol? It is described as a blood pressure medication:

PubMed Health - Atenolol

I've read others mention blood pressure medications to help with HH, but is there more info on this online? What did you tell your doctor? How did you get prescribed this?

Thanks!
