my experience

This was always a huge problem for me in high school and any close social situation. Giving a speech was devestating. Sometimes I'd turn fire engine red in front of the whole class. Now I'm 60. I've pretty much outgrown it but it can still happen. I was always shy and lacking confidence but there was another guy in some of my classes who would blush easily but he was a tough dude who few would mess with. Go figure. You could tell though he had some problems with anger. I have had a life long problem with irratability and anger. I think one thing that can help is to take stock of your personality traits such as anger, hate, any kind of bitterness, jealousy, etc. I never go to church-I'm not religous but for me prayer can help-as in asking for help with blushing. Now I work at cleaning my mind of hurtful attitudes. Forgiveness, patience, mercy, understanding is what you want-not petty self centered attitudes.
