My 1st poem

[simpsons2007]

I've seen some good poems on here and thought I'd give it a go myself. Its my first try at writing a poem and I don't think its very good....

My mind is all hazy
I think I'm going crazy
My life is dull borring and plain
Look through my window you'll see I'm in pain
I'm in the corner curled up in a ball
Trying to look very small
So no one will notice me
I just wish I was free
Free of all this pain in side
I can't help but to hide
I want to be just like a tree
Being outside and so free
Standing tall and so strong
Where did my life go so wrong
I wish I could remember the good times I had
Trying to remember makes me sad
I'm quieter than a mouse
Sometimes I can't leave the house
I live all alone
I can't use the phone
One day I hope to have a mate
And even a woman to date
I dream of a normal life
Settle down with a wife
I hope one day I'll beet social anxiety
And even get back out into society

I like all of it.

But these four lines really hit home.
