hi, just wondering if anyone else is a big movie buff like me. What's everyone's favorites? I absolutly loved Harold & Maude, the Notebook. and Bridget Jones. oh and I'm a big Lord of the rings nerd! lol

yeah Im a movie nutter too... so many favourites, cant pick one. But recent favourites include October Sky, A very long Engagement, The Lighthorseman, Master and Commander oh yeah and Pirates of the Carribean was pretty cool

shakesphere in love, willie wonka and the chocolate factory, and the rocky horror picture show :D

I'm mad on comics so I really love the comic based films like the Crow (being my fave), the Punisher, DareDevil, spiderman, Tankgirl....etc.
Other faves include Shawshank redemtion, Empire of the Sun, The Butterfly effect, Monsters inc....ohhhh I love Pixar films too...lol.

I go every week.
One of my favorites are fargo, annie hall,Amelie, martin hache, the sea inside and...well there´s a lot!!
I recomend you "an angel at my table".

madly enough my freind on SAUK organised a movie meet, three of us turned up last night to watch 'Sideways' I loved the film.

I really ascociated with the main charatcher (anxiety/depression type)

hey remus, how often do ya'll meet? I guess all being the in UK relatively would make it easier to meet, are most of the people from the same area?

i loved the butterfly effect, shawshank redemption, THE CROW!! umm... the notebook was so sad..and even though the passion of the christ has forever scard me..i must admit its a very vell done movie..but ill never watch it again...heh...

yeah we are from around manchester the people going to the flicks, Wigan, Mossely and Stockport, all within about 30 miles of each other, we are hoping to get more to come, so anyone near manchester give me a shout and you would be welcome.

maybe people who live close could organise the same?

those are great great films (especially Amelie)

I'll see if I can get hold of that 'Angel at my table' as we were all thinking of having a wine and video night too :)

we are thinking of other 'themed meets' we plan to do stuff at least once a fortnight, it really helps getting out of the house and socialising (even though I find it terrifying)

Movies

Among my faves are Spiderman, Constantine -which I watched just yesterday- and here it comes....the Matrix Trilogy. There's also Phone Booth and Naked Weapon 1. :D

watching movies is one of my fav pass times.i love to blazed a fat one and watch movies. these are some of my favs;fight club, a beautiful mind, half-baked, blow, city of god. hey despise i loved butterfly effect man that shit was trippy.

Freddy Got Fingered, Strangeland, Texas Chainsaw Massacre(1973 version with Gunnar Hansen), May, Willard, Halloween, Carrie, Ginger Snaps, The Nutty Professor, The Nutty Professor 2: The Klumps, Dumb & Dumber, etc.

I love just about any (good) horror movie. I'm a huge fan of horror movies. 8)

i love movies..i just saw garden state yesterday and i loved it..my favorites are dangerous minds, the exorcist, the breakfast club, pretty in pink, but im a cheerleader, gia, girl interupted, lock up, top gun, shawshank redmtion, pulp fiction, the jungle book..blah i can go on and on ive watched those movies about a million times and they never get old. my favorite thing to do is just smoke mad reefer by myself get some good food and just chill and watch movies all day
