Mother Issues

This is my first thread here, so if I put it somewhere I shouldn't have, allow me to apologize in advance. Allow me to say hi, as well.

I have noticed a few threads here and there, some posts too, that have many people dealing with father issues. I was curious if there are any people here who have any problems with their mothers, as I do.

Growing up, my father was always the loving and supporting one, while I endured years of disinterest and criticism from my mother. I was wondering if anyone has similar issues, and what they do to cope with it.

Hi there, I think mother issues are pretty common as well... Just parental issues in general are pretty common... Perhaps there's a sort of generation gap where older generation parents think that the way to discipline children is to hit them and to not show too much care for them... Or at least some do. Then there's also some actual cases of physical abuse...
