Mirtazapine

For those interested in more info on HH treatments, I have recently completed a trial run of Mirtazapine (remeron) to see if this would impact HH. Certain studies and posts floating about the net suggested this as a possible treatment. It is mildly anticholinergic and is an antagonist at various interesting receptor. Unfortunately I have found it to be completely ineffective for palmar/plantar HH, and has some horrible brain side effects so avoid.

Another potential drug scored off the list. I feel alpha blockers may be the next stage and if this proves fruitless, then ETS.

Thanks for the info, and sorry it didn't work for you.

Can you provide links to any studies or articles you've read?
