i usually get my panic attacks at 3 am in the morning. not every night, but close to every other night. i wake up with heartburn, and a feeling of being hot and cold both at the same time!!! i try to reason with myself, but it's like two brains fighting with eachother, the good and the bad, you know? the good say's calm down you've had this before, take deep slow breaths, relax, the bad side of my brain say's take a pill, and you'll automatically calm down, don't do it on your own, take a pill now, otherwise it will escalate out of control and you'll have a terrib;e frieghting night, TAKE YOUR PILL NOW! anyhow, i usually end up taking the pill, since my bad part of my head screams louder,(granted not in a sick skitzofrenic way) so anyhow, this pill is known as,a clomomozapam, don't quote me on that, but f-a-net-iclly it sounds like kloz-a-mon-o-pan. this pill is EXCELLENT! and i highly recommend it to anyone struggling with panci attacks. although some here will critisize me for saying take drugs, i think it's better to have these pills on hand then to not have them on hand. there are two different types of panic attack pills i was told, one that you take every day, and the other you take, when you feel you might have a panic attack, i take the latter of the two. anyhow, these pills the clomamozapam will slow you down to a calm relaxed state of pure sheer calm brain patterns, you'll feel perfect within 20 mins.! WARNING:the only thing with these pills is this: first, they can be very addictive, try to use sparingly, and two if you do use them everyday, the amount dosage will become nothing to you in a month time, so use them sparingly, but do have them by your side,at all times.

When I was having really bad panic attacks I used to take one of those pills. They would make me feel very tired. Sometimes it would make me feel calm but alot of the times I didn't like the feeling it gave me of just being out of it. I usually like to be in control which can be a problem at times and have recently learned to let go alot. I only have one pill left, and always keep it in my purse as just if there is ever an occasion which I need it extremely then I'll take it. But I've had it in my purse for a while and I have learned so many techniques how to calm down that I don't want to use the pill.

Ive never heard of those ... I took diazepam if an attack got to unbearable ,now i take venafluxatine which after the initial side effects on going on them, have been Fantastic... ! Trick is finding medication ( as well as self help) to assist you on recovery
