Medical Insurance Won't Cover Hyperhidrosis

My medical insurance will not cover any hyperhidrosis treatments. It seems like a lot of people here are saying that their insurance covers botox treatments. Is there anything that I can do? It would be thousands of dollars for botox out of pocket.

Have your general practicing doctor write a letter to your insurance company explaining to them the severity of your HH and that Botox is the only method that will help.
