Measures She Can Take (Re-post)

Shattered

Okay so I've posted this before, like years ago... and tonight I don't feel like I can talk and chat and do the forum thing but I feel down and this is how I'm expressing my current emotions. I'm craving, yet abstaining from the substance I wrote this about:

~Measures She Can Take~

I am plagued with the incurable;
Excessive, yet, still beautiful.
Though this may prove vain and critical,
My ceaseless death remains too painful.

But this slave can do my bidding.
She is betting and she’s winning
As long as ample fix she’s hitting
And the blade continues slitting.

Time can take her days away,
She tires of the disarray,
But not of measures she can take
To shatter more a thorough break.

But it is her life at stake here,
So the hum should be more severe
In her head when things are not clear,
Though the buzz always disappears.

And with nothing left to cling to,
Begins methods, fresh, but not new;
For her bitter veins and tissues
Insist that the hum continues;
For she might die, should she refuse,
Even though she knows she’ll still lose.
Euphoric taunts so strongly seduce
With soft tongues I must submit to.

I liked it a lot. Especially "For her bitter veins and tissues
Insist that the hum continues;
For she might die, should she refuse,
Even though she knows she’ll still lose." I hope you feel better soon :)
