I have a luncheon at my nephew's preschool end-fo-year thingie to attend because his parents won't be able to go so I am, apparently, the stand in parent. Yay me. :idontknow:
Anyhow, the other women are total B*T*HES - seriously, they drive in the Lexus thinking they are too good to talk to me. I tried to strike up conversation with them and all I get is a head nod. Eh.
Of course I'll go, poor kid needs someone to 'represent' ... problem is, what do I do? This is going to be awkward for me. I don't like to eat in public. It's very difficult as I feel like I choke if I do. What do I say (small talk) to the other moms and dads? Plus the other moms and dads are heaps younger than me.
I've already got a headache thinking about it. I know I am probably making too much of this, but it is a big deal when I am to spend a couple hours around other people, making small talk and eating. Plus I'll have to take my 8 month old niece with me...
