Mate.. I am not from Brissy, but I am kinda in the same boat. Well atm I am a feeling a bit reclusive partly because of stress from work. But few month or even an year or so ago, I found myself feeling pretty good and I wanted to socialise, and do things that others do, but just found that I knew no one from here apart from people from work. All of them have established social groups.

Oh yeah, I am running out of excuses to say to people when people ask what I did during the weekend.

And there may be many awkward silences even though we are in a group. Maybe a movie or something to sooth the tension?

I am in Newcastle (Australia), and have just registered on this site today. It would be great to organise a social group of some description, or at least get to know other Novocastrian members of this site.
Incidently, I don't mind a bit of online gaming, if anyone is into the Xbox 360.

If anyone wants to talk to me on the phone or msn or whatever please ask, although I'm not too comfortable on the phone I feel like it will help me if I talk to someone who won't judge me lol. I would meet people as well but I don't think anyone is near me.
