Keeping a journal

I never kept a journal before, but I think it's really helpful. I have read that one of the differences between successful & unsuccessful people is that successful people keep journals. So this year I started one. On the first page I listed all the things that I need to work on with myself (I should have left extra room because the first page is full!) and also listed some of my goals. The first step is coming to terms with everything that you don't like about yourself and also your goals, and writing it down makes you aware of those things and what you need to start working on. It helps to put your thoughts on paper, good or bad. It can be a release of negative emotions & stress. And you can look back on it and recognize thinking patterns. Just an idea for those of you who have never tried it. :)
